About this Supplier Code of Conduct
This Supplier Code of Conduct is designed to outline the ethical and transparent practices we expect from our business relationships with suppliers and contractors, in alignment with our corporate Code of Conduct. We expect all suppliers and contractors to read, understand, and uphold these guidelines, maintaining high standards of business integrity, including ensuring safe working conditions, fair treatment of employees, and ethical behavior.
At Niaar, we are committed to always doing the right thing. As part of this commitment, we support the development of the communities where we operate, as well as the entire value chain. We recognize that improving performance is an ongoing process, and we value the critical role our suppliers play in this journey.
We encourage our suppliers to familiarize themselves with and operate in accordance with international conventions, treaties, and agreements relevant to their industries, including:
- Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
- UN Global Compact
- ILO International Labor Standards
In addition, we ask our suppliers to adhere to the following environmental and social standards:

The Conduct We Expect from Our Suppliers
- Demonstrate integrity, maintain a strong reputation, and ensure transparency in all actions.
- Meet all contractual obligations to Niaar and ensure alignment with this Code throughout the duration of the contract.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to their business operations.
- Adhere to environmental standards and regulations that apply to their specific industry.
- Commit to sustainability by fostering economic efficiency, environmental responsibility, social equity, and good corporate governance.
- Treat all individuals fairly, with dignity, and respect in every interaction.
- Avoid any situations that may result in a conflict of interest in their relationship with Niaar.
- Protect and uphold the business relationship and reputation of both parties involved.
- Report any actual or suspected violations of ethical standards, whether committed by their own employees or Niaar employees.
Just like Niaar employees, our suppliers and their teams, including subcontractors providing services to Niaar, both on-site and off-site, are required to adhere to the values and principles outlined in the Niaar Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct is available here.
Our commitment to people and our communities
Niaar is dedicated to upholding internationally recognized human rights and ensuring that we do not participate in any activities that violate human rights. As supporters of the United Nations Global Compact, we are fully committed to the principles outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Niaar ensures that appropriate working conditions are provided to all employees and contractors on our premises. We adopt a zero-tolerance stance toward any violations of labor rights or collective bargaining agreements.
Furthermore, we require our suppliers to comply with all applicable labor laws and social security regulations. Suppliers must ensure that their employees are provided with safe, fair working conditions, accurate timekeeping, and all the employment rights they are entitled to under the law.
